Still no refund from Italia San Antonio

Reached out to her numerous times and no response. She continues to have me blocked on Cashapp.

I Paid for services, and she did not provide any. It’s as simple as that.

Somehow she thinks stealing $300 from clients is ok.

all I'm doing is giving you the phone number to cash app for inquiries that might help.

That money is spent, don’t expect it back.

Take a deep breathe and let this be a learning experience for you.

You will not get it back.
Opinions and Assholes. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference - especially when you can't separate the two.

I have no idea about who did what here or anything like that at all I'm just going to point out this is one reason using cashapp, PayPal, Zelle, or some form of digital wallet, are vastly better than "cash". All you have to do is contact the digital service or bank and request refund or report fraud. Even if it's not really "fraud" just say it is; they don't truly investigate for these amounts. They will do it no problem. Soooo easy. You don't have to say exactly what you were buying, or just lie, make it up, say it was fraud, they will give you a complementary refund if nothing else.

Obviously you can't do this over and over and over, no, but I've done this with my banks/digital wallets over various issues. Not just hobby either, other digital purchases that didn't go as planned, damaged products, never delivered, etc... So easy.

Again, no idea about the encounter in question and I've only seen and heard sweet things about the girl in question so my comment does not at all reflect on her or the encounter.

I just wanted to point out why you shouldn't ever use "cash cash". Now, that said obviously there do exist some traceability issues with not using "cash" but if you know what you are doing you can get around most of that too. Even if you don't know how honestly if it gets to a point where some "ellie" agency is trying to trace stuff you are pretty screwed anyway unless you are in the top tier black-hat, grey-hat, or white-hat knowledge base.

I typically try to stay away from drama on the board but this sickens me...

So the advice is, A should steal from B because C stole from A.
Pathetic, unethical advice and it is the kind of thinking that increases costs in all corners of the market.
i.e. Insurance companies must account for false claims in their cost analysis.
As does CashApp and the like.
I hate it when someone tells me something like "tell the insurance company, blah blah blah", to make an otherwise invalid claim.
I recently sold my house - the realtor wanted me to try getting my insurance company to put on a new roof by claiming hail damage, even though none existed - disgusting!

@Blast16 just take the loss - two wrongs don't make right...

^ Come on man. It's a hobby board! Jesus. You are pulling out an ethics card?? Seriously?

If the guy feels wronged then why not use the system to get his money back? Not saying he is right or wrong but this is a bit ridiculous considering you are on an "illegal activity" board. Trying to pull an ethics card is just a bit absurd.

I'm not a black-hat type (malicious intent). I'd consider myself somewhere in between grey-hat (no malicious intent but may break or bend rules to get things done) and white-hat (ethical hacking). And btw I've even done the last item as a profession a number or times over the years for companies (i.e. penetration testing/attacks for flaws or holes in the app, firewall, database, or other aspects of the network).

I just can't believe you are bringing out an ethics card on an escort site. Don't say it doesn't have any effect on anyone except you either. That's as bad as someone who says drugs should be legal bc it's their choice and only affects them.

@mathguy Lol, I agree with you for the most part.
I was fully aware of how my post could, and would, be seen as hypocritical.
And I don't dispute that and I acknowledge the validity of, c'mon man...

But my perspective is that there are circumstances in life where deception is justified, but also where it's not.
Too me, the hobby, like many things, isn't a cut and dry, absolute wrong.
It is only wrong based on the beliefs of local legislators.

Deception in the hobby isn't necessary everywhere - it isn't unethical or immoral everywhere - it's a demographic opinion.
But I don't see how filing a false claim is ok, regardless of demographic beliefs.
So ya, I can be a hypocrite - when it relates to matters of personal choice - which the government should have no say in.
But sometimes, right is right and wrong is wrong.
