Not sure if this is where I put this or not. But I was looking to visit Austin but wasn't sure where was a good location or hotels to get a room. Is Austin good for business right now?

An okay area is around I35 and 183 and the better areas are probably around mopac and 183 and the arboretum. I have heard it is good south Austin but haven’t worked any where S. Austin. I have gone a few times to Austin and used to live there. The areas I mentioned were good for me anyway. Good luck!

Thanks babe. Would you know what hotels are good and which ones to avoid? I mean I do have a general ideal.

If you come to Austin now, yes, business should be booming, but beware and book your room before arriving and find sticker shock. I've been told that Motel 6 was charging $200 a night for a room and places downtown upward to $400-$500+ a night. Just an FYI.
Yup! The hotel prices are crazy unless you might have points at a particular chain. Some of us refer to this a the $X$W pricing!
Have you ever considered that the "Writing on the Wall" might be a forgery?
Every time I read a review I keep waiting for Paul Harvey to say, "And now.. the Rest Of The Story."
