Bartering In The Hobby- The good. The bad. The potential.

I like this idea and I've done it many times with only my trusted regulars or someone with a stellar reputation on here. I find it can work out for both parties IF you have good communication skills and make a clear cut arrangement.

The bad... Providers and hobbyist can both be flakey at times. I find it fun to network in and out of the hobby.

    BTW, happy early turkey day!

I have bartered fitness club memberships and other services before. For me it’s been a 60% positive experience, 40% negative experience. People following through with their commitment can be the issue.

As you proceed through life, following your own path, birds will shit on you. Dont bother to brush it off. Getting a comedic view of your situation gives you spiritual distance. Having a sense of humor saves you.

I am in the midst of this type of situation, myself. I am waiting on the lady to schedule. Been waiting awhile…

I've been lucky having a 100% success rate, but I've only done it with regulars or semi-regulars. Bartering with someone you've never seen or not many times can be very risky, I'm sure. I guess one way to avoid getting ripped off and to see if she has good intentions is to have the session first, then you provide the service or product she wants afterwards. May not have very many takers lol.

I remember you did that for me once! It worked out well. I'd like to barter social media content writer. I just don't have the time like I used to. Signing up on all those sites and keeping up with it while trying to provide and go to school and see clients... It's a little daunting.

I'm adding all things adult to my incall or "hoepad' as I call it, so toys, high end liquor, massage tables, outfits, dungeon and bdsm stuff, webcam and tech stuff and someone who has built houses plus a videographer/professional photographer.

I did this once here with a regular. She had told me beforehand that she didn’t barter, but later wanted a piece of furniture refinished and was short on funds. She wound up renegging on the deal. Later she paid a little bit of what I asked, but not all. Lesson learned.
