Well, well, well. For the very first time in 25 years using a hobby forum, I've been banned from a hobby site. What did I do, call someone an asshole or something like that? No, it was 5 instances of posting off topic.It's inherent that each individual thread, be it there, here, facebook, car forums, gun forums can get off topic or move off topic easily. Let's see, we start with a topic of chevy sucks, then ford is mentioned, then we move away from chevy and start discussing ford, then the thread takes another direction and it goes to automatic transmissions vs manual transmissions. Most of my posts were reactive (somebody may reply off topic to me, then I would reply back and it would be off topic), but a few were proactive. I was warned on several occasions through PM's just what kind of moderator biomed is, and every PM sent to me about him was correct. None of us are above getting points, but IMHO the points need to be justified and not singling out any one member for points when others get away with posting the same word. But this isn't why I joined the banned group. Lastly, I can't retrieve my PM's, so I have no idea what the last infraction was for. I can't skim through my postings to see the ones where the red icon is showing an infraction. All I can say is that they're in the political forum.

All were for posting off topic, which most off topic infractions are a reach at best. I did have one 2 pointer for putting down someone. Look at the site through my cellphone, it appears that I received my last 5 points because I made a post about 28% of democrats wanted Trump's life to expire when he got hit in the ear, but this is just a guess as I can't log in to see what the actual infraction was. Oh well, it is what it is, the only thing I will miss is when Trump wins throwing his victory in the face of the 5-10 persons with stage IV and terminal TDS.

Pretty much the same for me. I was on and saw a message notification and went to my inbox, read it. By the time I read it and went back to the inbox, he had sent me 5 more messages with infractions and I was locked out before I could read anymore. I have to say I can appreciate their level of pettiness. It's rather epic.

biomed get you too? There are heavy handed mods like biomed, then there are mods that aren't doing enough. Take the idiot with all the different handles like shine, and he gets away with having like 15 handles, yet he gets away with it. I've been a lead admin on a couple of web sites and a couple of Facebook groups, so I had the keys to the admin toybox and I have a real good idea of what information admins have access to and what admins have the rights to. Maybe dr epg will be more aggressive about those with multiple handles. Like I said, most off topic infractions are a reach at best.

I've only really complained about points one time, we were discussing the stuff going on down on the border and I mentioned the name of a drug that was killing people. I just mentioned the name, I wasn't pimping it or anything. Doing a search on eccie on the word, there were 3 or 4 pages of results where the word was typed and I guarantee you that everybody who typed that word wasn't given a 10 pointer like I was given. So I popped off to the mod one night, but over the past few months, I thought about the cheap shot took at him. I sent him a sincere PM apologizing for embarrassing him. His reply, crickets. He couldn't even sent a PM saying apology accepted and we're cool or even one that says something like 'I received your PM and thanks, but please don't communicate with me in any manner.' But that's OK, I manned up and apologized which was the right thing to do, so my conscious is clear. Bottom line, I was wrong and said I'm sorry.

Also the mod assigned to the political forum was supposed to be wakeup, WTF is that idiot doing with mod powers? He was one of the most abusive members on hobby boards going back to aspd.
