I've been seeing the same provider for about a year and a friend told me about Our Home. I trying to schedule a provider but I see that I need at least 2 references. I asked my regular provider for one and she told me no. Anyone experience this before?
Yup. That’s just the way it is. Find more reference friendly providers.
I would ask either in welcome wagon or ISO there will be some who are ?newbie friendly?.
That?s ridiculous but unfortunately a lot of ladies aren?t reference friendly, I am though.
There?s other alternatives to screening, it may include personal information but you just need to do your research on who you?re lending you personal info to.
Me personally, I don?t except references but from a handful of girls so references. Wouldn?t do any good over here

I don't think that "Newbie Friendly" means you do not need ANY references. I think it means contact those ladies and start asking what they do need.... but they're friendly to newbies...

My advice is also to consider joining P411... Many ladies are on P411 (and OH2 and other sites). P411 has some (fairly easy) screening for the guys that join. The ladies know that you are already screened so often times no more is needed. The only caveat is that you still need to see a few "newbie friendly" ladies to start getting "okays".
P411 also works on an "okay" system. You see a lady and afterwards ask her for an okay. Many providers want at least 3 okays, but some take less. I have like 90 okays on P411...
You can also ask the ladies in the "Newbie Friendly" post above if they are on P411... if so, they can give okays which gets you going on P411. P411 isn't cheap these days at around $180 ? for a year membership. It's money well spend IMO. It's much easier for ladies to get a request for appt on P411 than it is for them to get a request on here... and find that MANY ladies don't answer Reference requests... P411 is MUCH LESS of a hassle for a provider that trying to contact 2 - 3 ladies... which also takes a lot of time...
