I was driving home this afternoon after another delicious two hour tryst with my ATF. This song popped up on my playlist. I am sure that some of you mongers can relate.



Full disclosure. This would have applied to me and my first wife. But thankfully not my second.

But my wife suggested that John drink beer.

Driving into Austin is so much nicer now that instead of enduring rush hour traffic going to work, I am coming into town during the lunchtime to see a Cyprian sweetheart.

If I was to ever perform again, I would play and sing these two songs as a medley. The first song is about love when it is new. The second song is about love when it gets old.

Over The past two nights I have thoroughly enjoyed sitting on my back porch, sipping on a cold drink, and basking in the glow of the midnight full moon. Old age and meditation have taught me patience and gratitude.

Life is good. I hope yours is too.

I encountered my first courtesan in the wild sighting.

I drove to Austin this morning for a biweekly tryst and stopped to pick up some goodies. And there she was, grocery shopping.

I dedicate this to her.

What a coincidence! Earlier this afternoon I played my Giles Martin remaster of this album right after I listened to several other albums of much more recent (like 2024) vintage. Sound-wise, the White Album kicked both the other records butts. Of course, the songs themselves help, but that album sounds as good or better than anything being produced today.

What a coincidence! Earlier this afternoon I played my Giles Martin remaster of this album right after I listened to several other albums of much more recent (like 2024) vintage. Sound-wise, the White Album kicked both the other records butts. Of course, the songs themselves help, but that album sounds as good or better than anything being produced today.

I have been a Beatle fan even before they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show. I bought the white album on the day it was released. They were truly iconic.
