Exactly. Not sure where folks ever got that from and you don't have to tell them diddly about where you've been, what you were doing, who you were seeing, nothing. They use those questions to make you dig your own grave.

Not an attorney but generally speaking don't say anything to L.E. and I find it very comforting to keep a Law Firm on retainer. Things are much easier when you already have a law firm to call and will immediately act on your behalf. You don't want to have to shop around after the fact.

Pretty sure outing/discussing a person's RW info/job is against rules. If he wanted to tell people that, that's his prerogative.

Most definitely got it from the movies and crime series shows. But even then pretty sure I've seen most of them lie in those too. I think it'd people's automatic assumption that it should/would be illegal to do that. People should definitely get more education on our rights as citizens growing up but social media doesn't help and tends to add to the confusion.
