ya know, ASPD was 15-25 some years ago. The Internet was nicer then. Booking escorts by email/web (and text) was a novel concept back then. Good online reviews were excellent forms of good word of mouth (still is).

This definitely plays a huge factor in why the hobby world has changed over the years. The internet is certainly more commonly used, which opens it up to a lot more people (good and bad). The "trolling/bullying" is everywhere on the internet. People can hide behind a handle and act in ways they would NEVER in person. Those days will unfortunately never return, just like the world itself is nothing like it was.

So true. Kinda like road ragers - they wouldn't rage against someone they knew. The anonymity makes it easy for them.

I have very fond memories of ASPD. Since I started using ASPD and the other review sites to check on providers before I made an appointment, I have never been burned. I have had some great times at the ASPD parties held at a strip club, but the best was when a provider needed someone to go with her to a swingers' club, and I volunteered just to see what it was like.

as i said, ASPD (and i was in dallas at the time) had a sense of community; civility and cordiality, friendliness ... could try to start there. i won't hold my breath, though. in fairness, i was a couple of decades younger and more active. it matters. fwiw ... morgan baby is a good example of all the things i mentioned.

I found out about ASPD in my mid 20's when I messaged an ad on CL that ended up being one of Francesca's girls *yeah that is how far I go back.
It was definitely a different time. CL had ads in 2 or 3 different areas for hook ups. I would actually direct girls from CL to ASPD, for their safety b/c back then, the forum was about making sure both the girls and the Gents could have fun and be safe at the same time. Things just change over time.
