Charging for references?

BTW - Logged into P411 yesterday and they're offering summer renewal specials. If a guy renews now they give you points. I believe one year renewal was 40 points (i.e. $40) to spend on things on the site.... gifts to the ladies. Other renewal periods had other bonus points (i.e. 6 months, two years, lifetime, etc). Guys can gift the points to the ladies or use them towards future renewals. Ladies can use the points for posting .gifs, 'Top listings', etc... There were also bonus points for purchasing points.

I don't know whether they're offering deals for guys just signing up... wasn't paying attention to that.

This is just how she is. I've had a different provider reach out for a reference before for me and she still ignored it. She just doesn't want to share. The whole point of the hobby is to play and dabble. Can't get butt hurt because a client wants to go elsewhere. Do your job right and you'll have repeat clients, who will return, and you wouldn't need to be so petty and refuse references to others.

And there was a discussion about the ASPD days. Many commented on how fun it was and how the communication was so much better then today. Today?s community is so different. Yeah, the ASPD days will never return.

Its mostly these new girls who have joined after 2020 that I've experienced this with the most. The old school girls RARELY act like this but we've been around long enough to learn more. Girls are sensitive and be getting their feelings hurt when a hobbyist doesn't return, or if they're a good easy client and they don't want to share and think they're forcing the client to return to them when they ignore the request.
But I will note, most of us won't provide references after like 6 months. If it's been longer than that I typically tell the ladies and the only time I get annoyed/pissed is when the hobbyist gives my number out when I strictly inform everyone before they leave to not do so and have them PM or email me. Can't trust the intentions of all these ladies. They may seem/act nice and sweet to you, but they will turn around and be vindictive to their fellow providers real quick.

I do references for 6 months and do think that is sort of an "industry standard". I am happy to help out the women who need this and the clients who have seen me in the last 6 months. If a woman does not do references she is doing a disservice to this hobby and disrespecting the women and men who asked for it. We all take note of who is a good person and kind and who is a trouble maker and acting the fool in the forum. We all know Vicki is a sweetheart. the aforementioned provider who is charging has been causing problems here for a while. for a business that relies on repeat business and a good reputation, it is self defeating to act like that. our reputations are our livelihood and vicki's is solid gold.

Ck has actually mentioned before that it is actually a part of being on here. You're not allowed to flat out refuse to provide references on here. Unless he has changed the rule but it's been discussed before privately and that's when it was mentioned.

However forcing a lady to vouch might not be the safest for the ladies in the end. I would rather a lady just not respond and be catty than "respond" because she's being pushed to do so. Leaving me to think a guy is safe to see when he really isn't because she doesn't want "trouble". If she is already being like that, I'm surely not going to trust her word. It's kinda like p411 and their okay system where they used to threaten ladies for not giving a guy an okay. The didn't care if the experience was not good/safe they expected you to give an okay because that's how it works. That's not safe for the ladies and a reason you shouldn't be trusting their okay system as your only form of verification. Unfortunately not verifying has always been a part of the game, it sucks but luckily we have other ways of screening clients and honestly you shouldn't solely put your life in the hands of others. Is it shitty? Most definitely but I've learned to find other ways to get a client screened and if I don't feel comfortable I always recommend them to other ladies I know personally who I trust who might be able to help them and to swing back around when they have a better reference.

It's not forcing them to give a good reference for someone. All they have to do is be honest about whether they would see them again or not. I always make sure to clarify and ask if there's any weird kinks/things I should know, as everyone's feelings about certain things will differ. There's things I may not see as an issue, that someone else would. Like Vicki mentioned she would up verifying him a different way anyways, there's a much bigger picture here with what she said and how she responded to a referral request. I personally agree that women should actually be held accountable for this sort of behavior but it is what it is. The men definitely deserve to know who isn't reference friendly in my opinion. I've referred folks to others as well in the past if they can't pass my way of screening, which involves doing a lot of my own research, having references simply makes me feel better about knowing how they act behind closed doors. Too many times do men "look" or seem like okay people, when in reality that bad side comes roaring once they're in private. So knowing they've behaved for others makes me feel a little less anxious but I agree it shouldn't be a ladies sole way of verifying someone.
