Charging for references?

Since when did ladies start charging for references? I thought that was a no no for this board?
I reached out to Maya Monroe for a ref and woke up this morning to a text saying she doesn't give them out..ok cool but the next text informed me that both me and the dude now owe her $50 if I want the references....HAHA like um no

This is supposed to be a community and I find this practice kinda dangerous

Did she give a reason as to why she was charging for a reference? I'm interested to read her side of the story, if she even responds to this thread. Money hungry? I don't see why anyone would charge for this.

Because asking for references makes a provider incompetent and she can do what she wants was her reason

Provider in question just was put on many mongers dns lists. And many providers will now no longer answer her requests. Wow

If you have to open your wallet to get a reference from a previous provider to see someone else, that is outright abhorrent and greedy behavior.

It would be so much easier if everyone (or more of us) just got on P411...

BTW - Logged into P411 yesterday and they're offering summer renewal specials. If a guy renews now they give you points. I believe one year renewal was 40 points (i.e. $40) to spend on things on the site.... gifts to the ladies. Other renewal periods had other bonus points (i.e. 6 months, two years, lifetime, etc). Guys can gift the points to the ladies or use them towards future renewals. Ladies can use the points for posting .gifs, 'Top listings', etc... There were also bonus points for purchasing points.

I don't know whether they're offering deals for guys just signing up... wasn't paying attention to that.
