Good Food and Live Music In The Houston Galleria Area!

Would be so cool to checkout some places like this, while here in Houston, especially during my downtime. Its almost to HOT to want to step outside but any suggestions would be awesome just in case xoxo

Sam’s boat is always a vibe. I don’t think they have music anymore, but back in the day, on Wednesdays they had something going on.

There's not much for live music here. That's one thing I miss about Austin (back in the day) you could walk into just about any bar/club and find some live music. But Houston? Not so much.

Not a lot of live music
Depending on what type of music you like also.

The Rustic I believe has live music regularly but I dislike the place. Food was soso at best and it’s a big loud open barn type place.

If you like country, and travel, MO’s place in Katy has some great live bands regularly also.

Faud's Restaurant on Westheimer. Serves food and last time I was there on a date, had a guy playing piano. Felt more like a piano bar than restaurant. Per Google, "This swanky American mainstay forgoes a menu in favor of custom-tailored dishes for each diner."

Just saw this in Instagram. All Jazz spots but hey, live music.

yeah, the live music scene in Houston isn't what it was like years ago (late 70's/early 80's) where there were live venues all over town. Today, not so many...House of Blues, Rockefellers, Last Concert Cafe (Pub?), come to mind. May be a few more here and there..

City center by memorial city mall area. During the weekends, theres usually live music by local bands/musician as long as they have someone schedule and showed up. i believe theres a live music concert thing going on around 4th of july too. Its a walking area so you can just park in the garages and walk around. theres good amount of restaurants and stores too. pretty good vibe if you ask me

The problem is more of the fact that the music venues in Houston, and the surrounding area, are spread out. There is not one place with a concentration of venues. There is a reasonable variety of live music in the city though. For Blues, the Big Easy near the village on Kirby if it is still open. I went there for years and always enjoyed myself.

I don't know of any places in the Galleria area, but I am no longer connected to the scene.

Here is a list of live music venues in the area from The Blues Hound......https://theblueshound.com/music-calendar

    Hope this helps!
