If I ever fly again that's what I Will do. A couple years ago I flew our east. My special needs made it thru the scanners, but they held me up. I didn't feel violated because I'm not a modest person per se, but damn near had my pants pulled down. Felt sorry for those standing around waiting. I know what set the alarms off,, a nicotine patch I had low on my abdomen. A client once asked if I made a complaint and I said no, it didn't bother me, they were just doing their job. Plus it was a female. Hell me being me, wouldn't have mattered if it would have been a male. My concern was just getting thru to my son.

I understand why some feel violated I guess. I'm just not wired that way. I know the difference between good touch and bad touch. But the whole removal of shoes pisses me off, it Fucks with my OCD lol. Not joking.
