It should never be "thick" or coming close to cottage cheese consistency. I see

It should basically look like egg whites and will then get 'creamy' and thicken up and turned white just like egg whites will. If it's super thick or has an odor (huge sign) it's almost certainly a type of vaginosis or other infection, UTI, etc...
