I think if "some" people on the city council had their (puritan) way(s), ALL strip clubs, massage parlors would be shut down. Now, I'd like to see the DUI/DWI numbers for people leaving strip clubs compared to leaving bars/night clubs (since I'm not too concerned about being hit by somebody that just saw a naked lady, BUT I AM concerned about people drinking/driving after spending for no other reason). Then again, my views probably aren't the norm (whatever THAT is!).
Perhaps the strip club/massage parlor owners should work out a deal with the RIGHT city council members (and I know they're out there) where they get the appropriate "discount/benefits" at these establishments; shake the right hand and amazing things can happen (or not!).
