Facetime verification & no pictures on provider ads!

Greetings all!

There are two trends that are currently getting more and more widespread that I am finding disturbing and annoyed by. The first one is that more and more providers are wanting to facetime the hobbiests for verification, instead of the safe and good way of providing references. How the hell does facing timing someone vet them in the first place? If they are a UC, they could easily just do the facetime and say whatever they want to say, but if you make them provide qualified references then there's no getting around that really. It puts hobbiests at risk to do any kind of selfies/facetime. Is anybody on here doing facetime with providers??

The second issue is that I'm noticing more and more providers not providing any pictures on their ads whatsoever! That's the only way we can decide if we want to see someone. With no pictures, we have no clue what we are getting into. I mean I skip the ad completely with no pics. Has anyone else noticing this???

ft and provider references are not the intersection of truth, at least for me.
id starve if i waited on a provider reference or be in jail.
ft is not screening imo and provider references is not the way "i" screen!

i care approximately 0% abt those 2 items but thats just me.

Might I ask how you verify new clients?

i don't think there's only one way of doing things and years ago provider refs worked but these days my preference is to exercise my own discretion muscle in doing things my way.
and ft is never gonna be an option for me. thanks for askin'

Much thanks for the info you provided. If you were a hobbiest, would you provide FT verification?

There have been some of us ladies who have had trouble uploading pics on this site. Also, some ladies don't post them on every ad because they have them on their profile in an album. I do my best to post them on most of my ads.

I hate it when guys waste my time asking me to FT them. I have never heard of that being a form of verification for gents. It's not something that I would do or rely on.

Good answer, TWC. It really bugs me when someone says, "If I had been in that situation, I would have...". BS! One never knows how they would react until they are actually in that situation. And as TWC says, she will never be in that situation.

FaceTime is not a verifiable means of screening, period. Would not ask or accept that method myself.
As for photos - I'm a new member here so I can't be certain, but I have read a few threads where ladies are having problems uploading pics.

FT for screening what a joke .. all they are doing is jurking off lol and as no intell on who it is .

If that bugs you, you must be upset most of the time. Because now a days you have to be extremely selective on what things you allow to get your goat, especially with the influx of rude dummies that are coming into adult hood.

Well I suppose that could explain it, but the ones I'm referring to don't even have them on their profiles. Some just don't have any pics at all; or if they do, maybe just one or two on their profiles.
