As far as I know the review thing is only Oklahoma for now (note: most red state legislators are copy cats).
This has been discussed on Eccie, and the consensus is that it mostly applies to newbies or dumbasses who get busted and then spill too much information or leave a trail on their phones. Without knowing our handles and passwords, then they are unlikely to match reviews with writers. Bottom-line: it's mostly a scare tactic, and an excuse for all the draconian "culture war" political crusades!

Using the internet to Advertise has been a felony here for several years, however it mainly gets applied sparingly and only sticks in extreme cases. It's best to avoid the lower-end sites (like Skip-the-games), never post your rates or specials, and just be smart and stay upscale with verified clients. Our "solicitation" law is outdated and never envisioned the internet, so then keeping that in mind is important because what you say in front of a stranger should not be incriminating (just in case it gets recorded).

Additionally, It's my advice that you should always make it a point to ask your clients if they plan to write a review, it's good business if you want repeat and/or regulars, and being professional then you should welcome any feedback in person. IMO, this would eliminate reviews that give out too much information as to be a liability for either party.

More observations being sent to your mailbox.
