Unwelcome web page popped up on my tablet

I was on OH2 on my tablet, and I didn't close the browser before Ileft for a while. When I looked at my tablet 3 or 4 hours later, a web page for the National Human Traficking Hotline was displayed in a tab in my browser. The only website open was OH2.

I always browse In Private Mode, but this is unnerving. I guess I will be looking at VPNs now.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I am sympathetic to actual trafficking cases, but also know that many initially depicted as trafficking are actually not.

There's a thread on VPN's in the Austin Bat Cave you may want to look at....

Depending on which browser you use, I highly suggest installing the "Strict Pop Up Blocker" add-on. I use firefox, so it's available there. I don't get any pop-ups with that on. Good luck.
