Just out of curiosity- Why do some hobbyists ask for videos?

You are correct. I don't do videos except for when I want and for my use. But yes, see you 1x and fap fap fap to you for free several times, or even for bragging material? Who knows!

I mean it is fun as fuck to do videos, but to trust someone else with them is a totally different feeling after it's done. I keep mine for my use and always with permission!

I have a huge collection of pictures of ladies I've visited with, and it's about the memories of great times in the good ole days. They want to know she is real, from what I'm (told) but I have enough sense not to send a explicit naughty video with my face showing.
As you can see in my very short(teaser) videos that are FREE, it gives the man some idea of what he would be paying for when it comes to a session without giving too much away.
So far it has worked for me & if they want to see more they have to see it in person. Setting the appointment is where the big money comes in.
The same method as stripper's teasing men so they will eventually go to the vip room for the real deal up close & personal. $$$ talks

If you're asking why do hobbyist ask for videos during a date, I would say to keep as a personal memento. I've taken pics/ videos at the behest of a few ladies that I review from time to time and sometimes doing so sways my decision to revisit with them.

Regardless of the reason, I urge all to consider how and where to keep such materials very private and secure from prying eyeballs.

Both for the safety of the persons within the materials, and for the owner of such material ... lest after (death? disability? etc.) disclosure there are adverse consequences.

Yep, more than half the men that (contact me) rather have some video verification because they have been burned in the past.
But I don't allow video filming during a session because they could easily have my face view in the tape, HELL NO !! I have a real world job that won't be compromised.
I agree with CK, don't do something that could have adverse consequences.

Never asked for it because my mind holds a decent enough spank bank. If I were to get a video though it would be more for the memory and would actually probably make me setup another appointment.

I would agree with the posts above - this is one reason I think providers having OF sites is a good idea. Guys who want to be sure the videos are not photoshopped can go on OF and watch the videos. Plus, they can get a good idea of the providers personality if she has enough videos.

As to taking a video during a session - that is fairly obvious. They want to remember it. Either for how you look or performed or how they looked or performed - maybe both. If you don’t want the guy to do it on his phone offer to let him use your phone so you can watch it and if it does not show your face you can send it to him. If it does then tell him he fucked up and too bad.. LOL.
