Cant go wrong with the midtown area in general... tons of bars and restaurants/food trucks that can fit whatever vibe you’re feeling that day. It’s my day drinking go to!

Sydney, if you're near Hillcroft and 59, and like South Asian-style food, try Bijan, London Sizzler, or Himalaya. If you want to hit a club, Colorado and Michael's a.k.a Chicas Locas are close. Bombshells and Ojos Locos also close. For a chiller vibe, Paparruchos. For steak: Perry's Steakhouse (Memorial City off I-10), Taste of Texas, and Saltgrass are decent and have options that won't break the bank. STQ for something fancier and pricier. Pappas Bros. Steakhouse for even fancier and pricier. You can get great deals on seafood at Chinatown restaurants. For example, Confucius Seafood has a double lobster special that costs about as much as some places charge for a lobster roll. They also have crab fried rice (the crab is in-shell) that a certain James Beard award winning restaurateur riffed off and but charged 3x the price.

Drinks: Reserve 101, Bosscat Kitchen, Marquis II. Food: Kata Robata, Truluck's, Steak 48, Caracol. Enjoy!
