    Spirits suggestions...

I'm curious what others are drinking - favorite, and best at a bargain or for mixing. I'm curious about types I have less experience with.
    For me:
    Tequila -
favorites: El Tesoro Paradiso, then Anejo, Don Julio.
    Budget: Cazadores

    Vodka:
    Favorites: Chopin potato
    Budget: Reyka, Luksusowa, Lyna

    Bourbon - Tennessee, Kentucky
    Favorites: Bakers, JD Single Barrel
    Budget: Maker's Mark

I like a margarita with 1800 silver and extra Grand Marnier.

I’ve become addicted to various liqueurs: rumchata, baileys, amaretto, dark chocolate liqueur.

I like champagne. Perrier Jouet & Vouve Clicquot about $50
    Budget: Chandon $14

I don't like mixing my liquors.

I read somewhere recently that Kirkland vodka is good, but never had it.

I've only had a couple of Scotch - Macallan 12 seemed good without getting crazy expensive. Definitely like some recommendaitons.

I agree with all of these selections, and would add the following.

Budget tequila: Dulce Vida, Camarena Reposado - both are sippable and cost $20-ish for a fifth.

Vodka: This may sound counterintuitive, but Stoli Gold and Stoli Elit are both excellent vodkas. I recently saw Stoli Elit at $21 for a fifth at Total Wine. Highly recommend if you like martinis.

For Bourbon, I like Basil Hayden. For Scotch, probably Macallan, but I don't usually buy it because it's pricey.

Rum is not on your list. For high end, my favorite is Kirk and Sweeney. For budget, it's gotta be Flor de Cana. Can't stand any of the "flavored" rums or vodkas though.

Tequila: Herradura Silver is my favorite

Bulleit Bourbon is pretty good and I also like Knob Creek Rye.

Deep Eddy peach vodka is great for Moscow Mules too.

Amen on the Herradura, and I have some Bulleit Rye Whiskey. Bourbon is corn based, and I don't drink that much hard liquor so Bulleit rye and Bulleit bourbon would be superfluous. i do keep some Bushmills irish Whisky around for irish coffee, and Whisky/butter glaze for bread pudding.

Mostly I drink 512 Pecan Porter, and their whisky barrel aged pecan porter is to die for, and makes me giggle.

I agree on Herradura and Knob Creek. Twin Liquors had a deal on Knob 375ml a whle back where 2 were cheaper than a 750ml.

    I need to try Bulleit.
