Finally got power 2 hours ago (nothing since Sunday night except some on's and off's -- more off than on and house is 53 degrees....

Water? None and we got snow if we want to melt it to load the toidies...

Neighbor didn't and his water line is frozen from the meter to the house.
Fortunately power hasn't been affected.
But boy, ima sure a Provider or three would barter for bread and milk after looking at the lines at the grocery store.

Drip worked OK but SAWS gave us creaky pressure. Even now still low pressure and a boil yer water order.

Hotels full up even with intermittent power.

Get ready for house busted water pipes as temperatures ease up, I just finished repairing mine....(called plumbing company no luck, one company got 650 calls, so there is a waiting time).... got my tool box ... so far had to repair 3 pvc pipes in back yard, side of the house.... in addition two copper pipe leaks outside side of the house. My luck....was fairly easy to repair. Yes, just to let you know, copper pipe fix supplies in short supply.

Thanks for looking out for us and giving us a heads up... and taking such good care of us.

That would be a daunting drive from Austin. But I play in SATx and it would be worth the drive for the social.

I know we will find another reason to celebrate soon.
