Jackson Hewittt Tax preparation and accounting firm has free classes, online, with certification and pretty much guarantee to hire you.

Go to their webpage, click on "Careers" go to "Become a TAX Pro" and Sign up. Your application will be transferred to a local office, which will register you and allow access to online classes. Finish classes and get your certificate.
You can also stop by any local office and ask to speak to someone and fill out paperwork.

Jackson Hewittt does bookkeeping and Taxes 365 days a year. Every Wallmart, which is open during pandemic, has people working and Jackson Hewittt is always looking to hire people. Always.

If nothing else, you can use this FREE CLASS to better understand Taxes, deductions, investment and LAW.

I agree with Cover, I appreciate all ladies that share info such as this. It’s great knowledge for new ladies and ladies that have been on board and still require this learning material.

If you’re one of those that wants to keep a woman in cave days, of course you’re going to have negative/objective comments on such post. Regardless if she has had a career with JH for 20+ years it’s no ones business, the only thing to do here is thank and appreciate for the knowledge.

Or, perhaps AS is simply adding helpful and insightful topics into the ether to benefit both men and women in the middle of... (checks notes) a GLOBAL PANDEMIC when income may be an issue for them?

Many people who get huge tax refunds file in advance and take out refund anticipation loans, and many who don’t could care less about the fees charged by a tax preparation firm when they’re coming out of an $8,000-$10,000 check.

If so, i'd probably sign up in a heartbeat.

Otherwise, I miss the days when I did my own taxes. To do that today, i'd have to be an idiot. Short of being an up-to-date accountant, there are those that need these professional services.

Good advice Ms Sand.
In my time in the hobby I’ve heard countless people bemoan the fact that they can’t find a job, rent an apartment because the can’t show a paystub.
Take it or leave it, it’s solid helpful advice for those that need it.

I am also employed(not) and getting referral bonus with Edward Jones and they too have a great opportunity and training for office specialists and financial advisers.

"Quick Stop" gas stations and convenience stores are taking Texas by storm and hire at every location there is! They also help with tuition, education, retirement and just plain will pay to show up for work. Yes, I am getting referral bonus here too.

My inquiry was just one of curiosity of your knowledge base of the inner workings of JH. You could be an employee, an investor, hell, you may even sit on the Board of Directors. You may just have a general knowledge base of the tax preparation industry. In the general scheme of things, it matters not.

Strike my question. It is a very worthy seasonal job if you are interested in the field of tax preparation or personal finance. As far as referral fees, I don’t see that. Such a thing would require AS to provide her RW information so she could obtain her referral fee. I don’t really see her doing that. js
