Biggest Change since being away from the hobby

I stepped away from the game for a while and coming back I see posts saying "Bring me to you," or "Uber me to where you are," etc. When did the client start having to absorb the cost of travel? I get it, time is money and money is time. But I guess I am more familiar with asking a provider what they need for their time for OC and providing that amount whatever it may be (usually travel cost included in the requested amount). But now, it's the client's responsibility to provide the requested amount AND provide transportation? When did this start happening? Inquiring minds want to know.

I’ve noticed several of those TYPES of ADs as well.... I’ve accommodating that request a time or two.... THOSE providers more than made it right BCD!!!! I was pleased with Uber donation

Well, requesting deposits seems to be a big no-no. So, requesting the OP provide Uber seems a safe way for the companion to confirm the requester is serious about the appointment. Who knows. I don't do OC unless I travel, so, hard for me to guess - In my travels, I have never been asked to (last one was post Thanksgiving 2020)

You make a valid point about confirming seriousness. I hadn't thought of that.

Bring me to you means that we will travel to meet with people such as to other cities and states. For me that does not mean the client pays my way. That means that we make arrangements for me to go exclusively to see them wherever they may be. As for ubering I know nothing about that. The way I operate is as you stated above. I don't up sale or add extra costs. My donation is set to cover my expenses as any business calculates over head into the cost of services or merchandise. Again this is me other ladies may or may not agree.
