Hi y’all I’m by far the most tech savvy or even remotely fluent around computers or internet stuff. I’m trying to upload pics to my ad but it says I’ve exceeded my limit storage space or something along the lines.

How do I delete old files so I May upload to my ad.
Pm, message bk right here or txt 2109870870 is good as well.

Sounds to me like you are maxed out on your attachments.

Go to Attachments under My Settings in your profile to removed those you no longer need.

Following Mokoa's guide above, when you open the attachments, scroll to their very bottom and click "view thumbnails" so you can view both threads/posts and which photo is attached.

Likely you will note that many of the same photos are in multiple threads/posts.

Each of those duplicates eats up just a bit more space each time you posted it.

There are a couple of "work-arounds" to shrink that incremental growth.

One is creating an off-site storage (such as imgur.com etc), and hot linking to those photos in your ads; and you can also do much the same with links to photos in your open (not private) albums.

"shortcut" create a couple of templates for your ads that include links to the photos or keep a list of links in a notepad or word document and then you can pick and choose from the list.

Strongly consider the above option. When using the embedded link and you delete the photo from the imgur album, the photo is gone from the page. Well for the most part its gone with some exceptions.
