Good to see some attempt to provide guidelines! Are there official guidelines which the voting should follow? Seems like it should be more than who posts the most or who spends the most, as those are not neccessariiy indicative of value...Originally Posted by JessieJane
The official guidelines are what you make of them. It can be based on what you thinK is important. Same as it has been for the the prior three years. That’s what makes this an interesting yearly event. Different things are important to different people. We are not a monolithic group. We are a diverse group and so is the voting criteria.
BTW, you say who spends the most is not “indicative of value.” I don’t know that the ladies he is spending his money on would agree with you. js

I am sure ladies have an entirely differrent set of criterion!!! Seems there should be an award issued by the ladies as well as one voted on by fellow gents...
As stated in a similar thread posted in another city, having a Provider of the Year contest would be a complete ship show that I’m not getting into. It’s also been suggested we should have a Simp or WK of the Year contest. That too would be a complete ship show and a troll magnet thread. So, not happening by me nor would I participate in such a thread. We know who the trolls and drama queens/kings are around here and I choose not to feed them.
For me personally, I think the volume of and integrity of valuable information shared here by a brother is important. I also believe how a brother treats the ladies and his willingness in assisting newbies is an important factor IMHO. That’s just one member’s opinion. My opinion and a dollar will get ya a cup of coffee.
