If there is any positive coming out of 20 is it wont take very much for 21 to be way better. 20 by far was the shittiest year on record in my 48 years. Mainly the obvious negative has been covid and all the negatives that go along with a deadly disease that is easily spread among the populace and leaves many dead in its path. If that wasn't bad enough the measures those in charge in the government have enacted to supposedly protect us from it have done much more harm than the fucking terrible disease in the first place imho. So you have this terrible epidemic that you have to deal with then on top of that which is bad in and of itself you have to deal with all the mask mandates business closures and all the other shit that seems to be designed to destroy small business and the economy. Its like the perfect storm of destruction designed to make everyone's lives as difficult as possible.
I hate to even put this out there but in the back of my mind I think maybe we as a country are being set up for some kind of takeover either militarily or on the sly behind the scenes by some evil power thats been lurking in the background who chose 2020 to start its evil plot. Its pretty scary to me. I try not to be a conspiracy guy but its hard not to be when you watch the stupidity taken place and being perpetrated by the government. It really seems like to me that some evil power is feeling us out as a populace so they can see exactly how stupid we are and just how far they can go before people stand up and say enough. From the looks of it they can easily take it far enough to take over without people putting up a fight. Thats scary to me.
Hopefully 21 is a year of us rebuilding back to normal pre epidemic life and we come out of this stronger. If not and this is just a scam to take control a new even more deadly virus comes on the heels of this one and the government has to take even more control and the end of freedom begins and we are all just along for the ride while our personal freedoms are taken.
I personally have no real opinion on what just happened or what is going to happen going forward. I do find that people gave up their personally freedoms rather easily when told to do so including myself. Makes me wonder what would happen if they said you need to go turn in your guns or they empty your savings saying you only need so much money and the rest belongs to the state. I dont see people putting up the kind of fight I thought they would when faced with the government overstepping its power at least in my eyes. It seems like we are just going to roll over until its to late. idk I hope we never have to find out.

BC - there are times I really am convinced the government or other organized entity is lurking and waiting to make a move. But then, I remember how grossly incompetent our government is and then sleep much better at night.....as screwed up as that sounds!
