I have. It is safe with an experienced, licensed technician in a proper facility, but not without pain. You'll likely need a numbing agent, applied at least an hour in advance. The facility can usually provide one when the appointment is scheduled for an extra fee, or you can "grit your teeth and bear it." Despite the hype, it's not 100% effective, and takes several rounds. Works best on dark hair. Lighter locks don't absorb the rays well.

Hey, PM me. I used to sell those systems to the dermatologists and med spas. I can give the the run down on how they work and which ones are best. I even used one of my systems on a couple of the ladies from the ol' ECCIE days. LOL!!! We can say that now. "Back in the day."

I know a Bro that had his entire back done. At least 3/4 of it grew back and he looks about like her did before treatment. IJS

I'll just put the info out on here:

Laser hair removal can be effective if done properly. First you have to understand that hair has growth cycles and only about 20% of your hair is in a growth cycle at any one time. That is the time when it is best to get the laser hair removal done since the laser actually targets the color of the hair. Yes, light waves affect darker colors. So the darker the hair, the more effective it is. In addition, the darker the skin, the less effective it can be as well since the skin will end up absorbing the energy more than the hair follicle. So, in order for laser hair removal to start being effective, yes, you do have to go back for multiple sessions so that you can get all of the hair during its growth cycles. Also, remember that lasers DO burn. They are focused light, so yes, it does happen. Make sure you find a place that uses a laser with a cooling surface on it. Some systems use an internal cooler that runs water through the head to cool it so that you don't feel the laser. I have used the laser on the tender areas before. Yes it works, but remember that is a sensitive area and you will want someone with the proper equipment and experience. You don't want a botched job and laser burns in those areas. And yes, you should shave the area first. If you want to know anything else, PM me.

Diolaze is what you are looking for. That's the one with the cooling head. You don't feel a snap or burn of the laser. You'll complain about how cold it is before anything else. The head will actually start to freeze the gel if it's on there for too long. And it uses a laser that scans across an area rather than shooting at small spots over and over. There's only a few places out there that have it. The company that makes it isn't really that good at marketing. Great system, shitty marketing.
