Refereces: Question for the ladies

What's a typical time frame that the ladies are comfortable being used as a reference? I've been around since the end of ASPD, been through some pretty active spurts, and then dry spells. So, what is a good time frame for using someone as a reference?

doesn't matter to me as my 'recall' is perfect. i don't have a certain time frame. if i'm asked i will reply with a detailed response and include when i last seen the client.
i understand my way isn't the norm as most providers don't go way back, but it should be on the provider to make her own informed decision on what she wants to do in regards to my message.

My preference would be 3-6 months since our most recent visit.

Whether 6months ago or 6years ago....I'm gonna respond to a reference request honestly and include how long it's been since last meeting.

For me it varies. I prefer 6 months, but as long as I remember the person, I'll reply & let them know I have seen them, but it's been _____ months.

If I can't remember them I'll let the provider know I did see them, but can't remember anything in detail.

The only time I feel taken advantage of is when a guy will use me as reference, then see 5 + other providers, yet instead of using them, he'll constantly use me as his reference.

My time is is just as valuable as the next persons, so I shouldn't be the one that is constantly having to take the time to provide a reference for you.

With all that being said, YOU can use me as a reference ANYTIME. I have nothing but fond memories of you!

^^^ Yep. You put into words way better than I could have.....but this is pretty much exactly how I feel.

I am the same 6 months but if we have a long standing "friendship" then it doesn't matter. I know guys get frustrated sometimes with screening so I try to assist when I can.

For me, I just have a really hinky schedule to play with. Between work, school, and taking care of family, most times I'm stuck without being able to plan ahead. And I end up going periods of time without playtime. I usually like to stick with a regular type. But over time they either disappear or just move on. So then I have to explore. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. And if it's been what I feel is a bit, I feel bad using someone I've seen as a reference.

+1, I'm relatively low volume compared to many of these swordsman here. Been seriously considering P4 to help in this regard.

I've given a
"all's well " a-k-a
(how I answer every reference check if all was well) from 2+ years ago.
