    The Covid Experience

Like many I presume, I have dialed back me OH2 experiences because of this damn virus. But Covid fatigue is settling in. Has anyone here caught or thought they they caught the virus from the Hobby? Are you still playing or not, a little or a lot? Share your Covid thoughts and how to survive the virus without killing yourself with abstinence!

So far, only one lady has posted that she tested positive - and major props to her for doing so! Personally, I have kept to my regular rotation of trusted regulars who I know would wave me off if they had a positive test. So far, so good! But we all here swim in dangerous waters. Stay safe!

Have you considered using liquid hand sanitizer as mouthwash; wearing a mask during the session; set a glory hole encounter; purchase a blowup sex doll; or see someone via the internet (i.e., cybersex) ???

Hand sanitizer mouthwash. Thanks for the tip! I’ve only been wearing a biohazard suit as well as a condom. Cybersex?? That went out with the last administration!. Sterilize and don’t breathe while sucking or fucking

You are truly the most gloriously self-ignorant megalomaniac ridiculous and dangerous-to-other-idiots-who-might-think-that-you-know-what-you’re-talking-about person on this site. Why don’t you just get a steady slut and go away?

You might as well jerk off in an old sock and save 300 bucks......you can wear a condom while inside your old stinky sock to feel more at ease...

This thread did not take long to go off topic.
    lol

I am 61, little over weight, never exercise and had COVID-19 2 months ago. I slept 16 hours a day for 4 days with a massive headache and then was fine. Everyone should get it and be over it. If I was 75 plus or had underlying conditions, that would be different.

After 14 day isolation , then another 10 just to be sure, I have seen my regulars 2-3 times a week for months. I told them I had it and it was never a problem. Though one does spit now and does not swallow.

Everyone will eventually get it - move on and live life.

To say "everyone" should get it is like saying if you die who gives a shit as long as I have my freedom. I have underlying health conditions and sure as hell can't get covid or I'm screwed. I know you have friends or relatives that would have a negative outcome if they got it so why would you say something stupid like that?

I think you are talking about robex on pg1 who said this?

To be fair here he is actually right with a major caveat.

We won't *all* get it. We don't need to either. Just like with the flu it doesn't literally infect all 7.8Bn today but we believe it infects up to 800Mn-1.2Bn each year.

We don't all have to get it. That's only about 9.5-12.5% of the population. If you got it it also doesn't mean you would die. Even if your high risk.

I've told the story about my mom once already. She's 78, has adult onset asthma, relativepy mild COPD (though she does take daily meds for both of these conditions and has had some serious breathing scares during flu outbreaks). About a month or so ago she has bearing 103 fever, 102.5 iirc, a pretty bad dry cough, and a little trouble breathing. It lasted all of about 18-22hrs and was gone. There hasn't been a sign since. My dad also in his 70s (74) has mild renal failure, not the greatest health overall, and had nothing happen during this entire 4-5+ wk or so period. My kids haven't. They've been here too. I haven't gotten anything either. My ex-wife runs a daycare and had a batch of kids that had to stop coming in due to PIC (pneumonia-like, influenza-like, covid-like) symptoms. That part was 2wks ago. They are all fine now, none of their family members have anything, my kids still dont. The only thing my ex did have was a fever for about 8-12hrs around a week ago. Nothing else has happened.

It does affect some in a bad way. That's true. However the flu can do that too. Its also part of what is really screwing things up in the news now that flu season has hit.

The CDC is trying to codify COVID, but the fact remains that they list most stats as "PIC". You can read this all on the CDC too. As I've explained previously, per the CDC, PIC = pneumonia-like, influenza-like, covid-like illness. They simply don't know in a absolute bonafide manner what kills/killed every individual. There is no way to tell conclusively. That is why so many of the numbers are wrong in the news for the US specifically. They are conjecture at best.

This idea that you are going to die of you get infected is what is so absurd. People do die. People die I'm sure of COVID-19 complications (though I cannot for one second reconcile the numbers in the US media against the study data, WHO, CDC, AHA, HHSC, NiH, etc...). People also die of many other things every single day. That's what is sad. Many of them you don't even have any clue what they are or where they come from or what they do to the people (brutally tragic and awful deaths).

That's the saddest part of all. We have utterly freaked out an American society, caused all sorts of ancillary fallout (far worse than the actual virus in terms of death toll) and it really doesn't amount to much more (if any) than what happens on any given day to countless tens of thousands all around the world.

People being safe and careful is fine. I don't think that's a problem and it's likely prudent. Honestly it would be during flu seasons too. Most don't realize it but in 2017 and 2018 we broke "epidemic" thresholds for influenza in the US. Some governors or areas had to declare disaster/emergency areas with 'tent areas' due to the overflow of flu patients in 2017/2018 season particularly. It also happened some in 2016/2017 season.

The problem isnt in being protected (that's prudent even during normal flu seasons), it's in all the ancillary fallout caused by this:
record unemployment, record bankruptcy protection/business closings, record suicide hotline numbers, starvation rates and food bank lines at PHENOMENAL levels, lack of education to children (most parents don't have time or can't home school), lack of physical education for our kids, lack of socializing, lowered rate of childhood vaccinations worldwide (huge issue where 1.7MN TB deaths still happen globally), depression levels at record levels, other medical ailments going unnoticed/cancelled and killing tens of thousands (missed cancer screenings, cancelled chemo, cancelled heart disease screenings, major surgeries, minor surgeries, and on and on).......

Most don't realize many of these things. Or that it takes very, very little to overflow a hospital ER (particularly in an area where half a dozen are closed to 'contain the virus' for example - this happened early with great frequency). Just like any business, do you expect that docs or nurses or other med staff are just sitting around playing iPhone games all day? No. They run at near capacity like any decent business with a cogent plan is doing. A small sway in one direction can cause "overflow". The idea that it's happening now with hospital numbers is incorrect.

Take a look at this post I did not long ago to better understand how the current hospital numbers are very much like any other year in the prior 3 years sans COVID: national hospital numbers totally normal for this time of year compared to years prior to COVID

Please live like a hermit, I guess I am stupid, dumb, self-fish, an asshole!
Call me anything that makes you happy but I would rather live my life, take my chances and do what the f#ck I want to do and guess what, you can do the same. The problem is other people telling me how to live my life!
Please don’t go to a bar, restaurant, etc. but don’t tell others they can not.

Assholes who are shutting down businesses are killing small business owners and people who work for them. Americans are losing their freedoms. Sorry, but I truly believe that freedom is worth everything!

I feel sorry for you, your friends and anyone who suffers or dies of COVID-19 but the “science” says 99.5% of the people who contract COVID-19 survive. So we are going to kill small business, savings, freedoms etc. for 0.5%.

I choose not to, but others like yourself believe it is worth it.
Freedom of opinion - I love it!
That is what makes this Country Great!

Let’s live in Peace and support our Beautiful Women.
