Asking for recommendations for a good safe hotel and yum foods in New Braunfels please. Prefer local dives, diners or deli's, not tired national chains for food. I just know there is a hidden gem...please PM soon as we plan to go this week/weekend 🙏 thank you for taking the time 👑❣️
Go to Gruene, just outside of New Braunfels. Three are BnBs they may be open, and the Grist Mill serves very good food.
Checkout the Gruene Door, for great food.
Krause in downtown NB
Mozies, Cantina, Dos Rios, Gruene River grill....those are my favorites.

la Cosecha is good too but pricey.
I absolutely recommend Krause's too! It's my go to place when I'm in New Braunfels.
They have the best frozen margarita and the Kartoffel Popper appetizer is extremely addictive ��
One time, AtxRaven and I had a little too much fun with a leftover bratwurst, a wall mural of a man standing with a plate of sausage in just the right spot, and our super cute waitress! Good times :)

Mc'Adoos seafood is great food located inside restored postoffice
Huisache Grill is also good.
I understand the legendary Black's BBQ out of Lockhart Texas has a location in New Braunfels. They are outstanding!

You should try Huisache Grill in downtown NB. Great place to eat and has a nice vibe.
Gruene Door and Gruene River Grill are also great spots.
