    what is best shampoo ?

How do you figure out what shampoo is best for your hair ? So many products saying they will do this or that for all kinds of hair.
But who tells you what kind of hair you have, and what is best for it ?

Not to mention part 2: conditioners
Why do you nee those ?

    And part 3: gel

A thread subject I was not ever expecting to see, especially on THIS board.

I have to agree with Alyssa XOXO on this. Like ANYTHING related to human anatomy there are too many variables for anybody to give you a "correct" answer. They may be right, but only because of luck as opposed to knowledge. Best thing to do is see an expert who can evaluate your hair and provide an individualized analysis. Age, race, genetics, etc all play a role.

Sir if you are looking for yourself go to v’s barbershop on west gray and ask for Adam. The guy is really good at cutting hair and is really knowledgeable about hair care products, plus the service is at a great price point. I go once a week for a shave and literally it’s the best hour of my week it’s so relaxing. Shave cost 35 I give him 15. I believe the haircuts are like 25 dollars, i don’t have any hair so I never ask about the haircuts. Don’t go on the weekend because it’s just way too busy.

How figure out what shampoo ?
    1. do you color your hair? If you color need a safe color shampoo that has low Sulfate or better yet non sulfate keep the color from fading
    2. is it straight or curly ? Need a low sulfate so curls don't get to dry out
3 . if you ave normal hair still sue a low sulfate

No Sulfate or Low do don't get all that suds you think you should have , and that's is a good thing

Most men just need over the counter type . Or Crew for men is very nice and they have shaving gels .
Women should always use conditioner help keep the hair looking shinning .

Topic is not related to the hobby.

    Moved to the proper forum.

LOL. Yeah, that was a weak dig as I thought you gave a totally appropriate reply to a rather odd post.

You have to experiment with different brands to see what works for you.

I like Dr Squatch Men's Moisturizing Shampoo and Men's Daily Conditioner

Rise N Shine Catalase Extreme shampoo and conditioner is good too

If you on a budget try Nanogen 5 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner

Also heard good things about Rapid Lux Fast Grow Shampoo & Conditioner but i haven't tried it yet

    Why thank you!

I mean damn, OP never mentioned his Race/Ethnicity, etc. Every male I personally know goes to a Hair Salon, not a Barber Shop. Yes, even the young folk... *shrug*

    Happy Hobbying!

My pleasure! For a non-hobby thread the question is almost a total YMMV topic. Genetics plays a massive role in hair type, and so not knowing a thing about OP's genetic makeup (or age) means any esponses with an actual brand are pure shots in the dark.

Happy Halloween...stay safe tonight and always!

    Bottoms Up!
