Usually an hour. So where's your spot? I've heard great things about Hamburg and Krakow but have yet to visit either (I honestly had a hard time finding the FKK clubs in Germany, and I've never been to Poland). I'd planned on making at least a couple of trips abroad this year, but COVID ruined those plans, obviously. Despite the crush of tourists and the constant threat of being run down by a bicyclist, I really do miss Amsterdam.
Frankfurt ( State of Hessen) is where I spend a lot of time but the other time is spent in the area ( look on a map) between Cologne and Dortmund; North Rhine-Westphalia. Cheaper entries, cheaper rooms but better service than the mega clubs. I prefer small and mid sized clubs. The mega FKK clubs full of tourists I will only go to Monday thru Thursday. Big fan of red light districts especially in Frankfurt. I usually stay in Frankfurt, Leverkusen, Essen or the Dortmund area. The Germans have clubs from shit holes to the fancy FKKs. GPS will get you to most places, trains/trams/bus as well or at least close enough to walk or take a taxi.

When I was younger, 1.5 hours for a relaxing 3+ pop experience was my target. These days, I'm sticking with an hour for 2+ pops (I'm still aiming for the stamina to hit 5 in an hour, not there yet). If I'm only getting one, a quick visit or half hour is plenty.
There's something to be said for leaving the country and being a sex tourist on the sly.
