    Footfein, if I may ....

For those who are seeking organizations who are accepting disaster relief donations for hurricane Laura; I will compile a running list of organizations here if it's allowed, if not please delete.
I've attempted to curate a list of (reputable) organizations. However, BE SURE TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING ANY DONATION DECISION.

    Donating at redcross.org
    or calling 800-RED-CROSS

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the American Red Cross to make some new rules about donations. The organization cannot accept donations of:
    Supplies, including hygiene items
    Food
    Clothes
    Any other 'in-kind' items

    Nice post, ~P
You always think about helping others.

The Better Business Bureau has a website Give.org where you can check if a charity is legit.

The Kroger emergency response team and mobile pharmacy trailer is now in LC.
10 18-wheeler truck trailers are available w/free water (since the water lines are down) and free hotdogs/snacks.
The Kroger store is also open on Country Club Rd if you need to purchase personal needs.

Also dial or text 211 for any other info

I drove into town yesterday for work.
If you look at the 99.5 radio station website you will see where all the free food and supplies are located.
They also show which businesses are open.
If you look at the KPLC website you will see everything you need to know about utilities roads and businesses that are open.

Power has been restored to most of Southeast Texas and started creeping into Southwest Louisiana.
One of my co-workers reported on Facebook that he had power today and the Maplewood subdivision of sulfur.
Kinder Jennings and Welch have also been restored electrical power.
Probably 75% of the hotels in Lake Charles have significant roof damage or have been completely destroyed.

The casino hotels look to be in good shape in Lake Charles. Not sure about the Westlake casino or the Kinder casino.

I think it will be at least a year for this place is up and running back to normal conditions.
It looks like most all businesses have been catastrophically affected.
a lot of construction and roofing businesses are rebuilding their own businesses before they can start work.
I prefer CLEAN, soft, clean, sexually aggressive, mature ladies. I like chocolate just as much as vanilla.
