I was at church and recognized a very popular provider. One that I really wanted to see but is outside my budget, but considered for my bday or special occasion. Seeing her there only solidified that I’ll never pay for play because that line can never be uncrossed

As has been said, that line can never be uncrossed. But please don't make it awful and bring it up at the salon. Follow her verification requirements to the 'T'. If she has a form on her website, fill it out and provide every single bit of information so that she can tell who you are without you actually calling her out. If she accepts the appointment, I agree with what Samcro84 said, give her the option to walk away when you get there. If she doesn't accept the appointment or decides to walk away once you're at the door, never ever bring it up again. BUT make sure you can handle it if she doesn't respond, and be prepared to find another stylist if you feel things being awkward. Good luck!!!

Don't you think , no matter how carefully or discreetly presented and no matter the channel (ie booking through here and following her process), the unavoidable outcome where she figures out that you know her real life ID and day job and that she's a provider would very likely be at least vaguely threatening and worrisome to her? Add to that that you already passed up the first opportunity to do the most discreet thing...which was nothing.

I love to flirt & tell stories to my stylst, but that's where she stays for a reason. It's a relationship that has lasted for 5 years.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd listen to the ladies. There's a really good reason they are as well known and respected here.
