    Best Tacos in Town

I love Torchy's Tacos and Taco Deli but am seeking recommendations for new places to try. Thanks in advance.

Casa Garcias has pretty good tacos on homemade tortillas to boot.

Taco deli has this pork taco called puerco verde and OMG. It is really good but I get it without the cilantro and onions and add guac. It's like being in heaven.

^^^ This... But there can be a line, and when they run out of BBQ, that's it for the day

    - The puerco en pippian (a pumpkin seed based sauce) from Papalotes rocks
    - The Al Pastor from Pueblo Vieja kicks ass
    - The Friday special Ceviche taco from Taco Deli is out of this world

    I'm hungry now.

I agree with SubClubKid81. Valentina’s is the best. Get there before 11am and have the Real Deal Holyfield. It’s a slab of brisket, a slicE of bacon, retried beans, potatoes all topped off with a sunny side up egg. Unbelievable!

If you like Torchy's, try Velvet Taco. The Poke taco is excellent.

I love TacoDeli breakfast tacos, but I was seduced by looking at Valentina's website at:
    https://www.foodandwine.com/video/va...eakfast-austin

Their Real Deal Holyfield is nothing but pure breakfast food porn. Especially the runny egg yoke while nibbling on the brisket and bacon.

Now it's on my must-eat list in ATX, along with several nice ATX hotties from OH2, just saying . . .
