    Austin Rush Hour Traffic?

Does that even exist right now? I work from home now and only go out for groceries or take out.
A ship in harbor is safe. But that is not what ships are built for.

It definitely still exists but it's reduced by about 30% or so. Getting to and from work is much easier right now.

lol. Austin has "traffic". I'm still used to much, much worse.

Although, wtf is up with I-35 at 45??? Everyone gets stupid north- and south-bound.

During shelter-in-place there was no rush-hour traffic. It was crazy, yet refreshing. However, like others have said, probably back up to about 70% now, which still leads to some slowdowns at the traffic choke points, but at least you have a chance of making it from one side of Austin to the other now in less than an hour during that time. Before the pandemic, our rush hour was one of the worst in the country, due to the lack of lanes and auxiliary roads in our area.

Daniel/Secret thanks. Been working at home. The morning news doesn't do traffic reports anymore so I was just curious

Last year, I was living in the La Frontera area heading to my job near the edge of South Austin almost in Buda. Some days I would avoid traffic by going on 35 sb at 5 am and then taking mopac nb back.

Now my job is currently 10 mins even with traffic and don't have to worry about using mopac or 35.
