    WACO on netflix spoilers.

Who's watched it? Until I saw the docuseries I had no idea what went down. In the end I'm not surprised the government tried to cover up their mistake and killed all those kids it's so sad that law enforcement has changed to being so tactial in the ways of a military would act.

I think she meant documentaries and she is talking about BATF’s raid on the Branch Davidians compound which was actually in Axtell not Waco.

The tear gas, it's high flammable. Made the whole entire place catch on fire. You should watch the series on Netflix it kept me glued.

did they mention that the branch davidians pour gas or some other flammable fluid all over the place, which caught fire soon after the tear gas??

while the ATF was agressive on this, the spread & intensity of the fire was Koresh's call and responsibilty.
as well as keeping all those folks in there who died in the fire.

this was not all on the ATF - koresh had plenty of culpability.

*IF* tear gas is flammable, you would find a helluvalot of people catching fire in public demonstrations involving tear gas and moltov cocktails. I'll be waiting for some video that supports that statement during crowd control.

PM, are you ^^^ aware that before the BATF showed up on the initial raid, DK made almost daily trips into Belmead for morning coffee? The McLennan County Sheriffs office deputies could have arrested him at anytime , probably without incident. The raid was supposed to be a show operation for an increase to the BATF’s budget. It went very wrong.

Also the basis of the raid was supposed to be about illegal weapons being in the compound. I don’t recall them seizing illegal weapons so, IMHO, a lot of people died for no good reason. I guess we have freedom of religion as long as it is government approved.

The BATF took automatic gunfire that morning. There was plenty of prohibited weapons there and they did want to make a big show of it. Also there are several restrictions on Federal Warrants that hamper operational surprise. As for CS gas it is not inherently flammable. As someone mentioned there would be some hell of interesting riots if it was flammable. However, If you have never deployed it, the canisters burn extremely hot. If there is flammable material or liquids it will definitely ignite them. Even today almost 30 years later it still will ignite stuff. The grenades back then for sure would ignite stuff.

This is a great article, it definitely is flammable this isn't the first place that has combusted into flames when the gas has been used call me a conspiracy theorist. This was a huge cover up.

I just read your article and it's full of bullshit. The so called expert was not allowed to testify. Why? Because his testimony was bunk. Even the article dances around it and never says it caused a fire. There is some BS speculation that the "dust" may have ignited and again I will call BS. I have worked with CS for over 30yrs. What I would point to as a subject matter expert? One would be the amount of it poured in by the M-60 with a nozzle. Not that it's flammable but you're getting close to displacing breathable air. Two the 40mm ferret rounds burn hot. These would easily ignite the gasoline they had spread around the compound. Even the bodies recovered died from suicidal cyanide poisoning or from the results of the fire aka smoke inhalation.

Just remember because it's "based" on an actual event doesn't make it the truth.

As Bandit said, CS gas is not inherently flammable. But the activation of the cannister is exothermic like action.
And i've heard interviews with people inside the compound itself when it went down. DK wanted his closest followers to shoot those inside. He was aiming for a body count.

People can arm chair quarterback this event. With the situation given, people were going to die because of DK actions.

That series really messed me up. I liked it. Did Karresh really order the fire? I don’t remember that but let me know. Also, weren’t they not legally 100% allowed to use tear gas?

let me clarify - wasn’t tear gas use considered a violation of the Geneva convention? If so then... what would repercussions of that violation usually be?
