so frederick the moth died in a perfect position to be framed does anyone know how to do that

Must have been hungry poor little thing . The moth flew from California to Texas just to say hi to Texas. Just adorable
..Place the butterfly in a jar with a wet paper towel for 2-7 days. When butterflies die, their bodies become very brittle and will break apart easily unless they're relaxed. Wet a paper towel with warm water and set it on the bottom of a glass jar with a lid.

Adult moths of that species have vestigial mouthparts, they literally can't eat and from the time they leave the cocoon they're dying. Nature is beautiful but a bit heartless.
