Returning to the Hobby?

This question is more geared towards the providers/hobbiest who have left the game or limited their activities (No LFK/DFK, BBBJ, SS, ect) dude to the pandemic.

When or what are you using as a trigger point to jump back in? Waiting for a certain date, downward trend in cases, opening the city back up, or for a vaccine to be developed?

This is a very good question and I'm in the same boat as you, except you're officially verified. I really want to come off hiatus, but at what point is it safe to re-enter the hobby? At this point I'm mentally and emotionally prepared, and even have a 'to do' list of those ladies I've made friends with on my friends list. This is my starting point and if a lady doesn't even take 5 seconds to click OK to be a friend, then I move on to another lady. One thing I have going for me is that I still have lady friends and gentlemen friends active that I knew back in 'the day' and I still communicate with them. That, and my friends list is all I need to get started with. I really miss socials we used to have which was a great way to meet new ladies and get to be with them and not just with knowing a lady through her daily ads.

Personally I'm thinking June would be a good time to start, but at this point in time we really don't know what the future holds concerning the corona virus. We'll just need to see.

This being said, I won't get back until all activities are on the menu. I mean if I'm going to be close enough to have the physical part, why not have the more intimate parts of the session at the same time?

If a provider was actually worried, she wouldn’t just take things off her menu. Taking away things isn’t lessening their chances of getting it. They put themselves at risk the moment they decide to see someone.
So to me it’s folks really milking it while still trying to get folks money.

Either your scared or aren’t but taking things off the menu yet still meeting folks doesn’t make sense. Unless gloves, googles and face masks are worn at all times during that session lol sooo idk

I say enter back when you truly feel comfortable. If you’re worried I say give it another month to see what’s going on before deciding to jump back in.

It's gotten through caugh or sneeze, basically saliva. So kissing is all I have removed. I'm not afraid, I wash hands regularly and try to abide by CDC although lately it's getting ridiculous.

So spit and saliva. After a bbbj the gent can wash himself and his hands and hope for the best....

I have lost and gained through this. Some love kissing and they won't do a session without it. Some respect that I'm COVID clean and TRYING to stay that way and still playing.

I'm more worried about infecting others. I have a high immune system(knock on wood)

The CDC webpage makes it clear that it is transmitted MAINLY from person-to-person. It then states "through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks."

Coughing and sneezing obviously create air streams of relative force. But talking? And lab tests show it can live on various surdaces for hours, which means touches can transmit it.

I am pretty much with Twiggy on this one-if you are playing you are taking on more risk than not playing. No kissing may reduce the obvious transmission channels, but if you're talking, touching, and breathing at an elevated level you are creating transmission opportunities.

Not judging either way, but want to make sure everyone's decisions are based on the best info available.

I gotta agree. There was a case in China where the lady drove across China to visit her family and infected 5 family members. I am pretty sure she was not engaged in DFK with 5 family members. Just being in close proximity was enough to make the spread happen.

But with that being said, if I was currently providing I would still probably limit DFK cause it seems like getting right up in someone's face is pretty much asking for it. So I can understand why some ladies have taken it off the menu, even if the only reason is too make themselves feel better. Sometimes peace of mind comes from controlling what few things that you feel you have control over in a crisis, and peace of mind can be all that matters at the end of the day if that's all you got to rely on.

Do what you feel you gotta do if you feel it works for you.

First, let me make crystal clear.

I'll try not to get too political.

So here's my
"I Don't want to start a debate answer"

We're all in the industry for many different reasons.
Therefore our decisions will always be different to fit our current comfort and well being.

To answer your question:
In between working my civvy and this virus mess is when I was planning on returning.

Then HALT lol

I felt the need to do more extensive research on how to stay proactive.

I went back n forth, deleted then added back some of my activities.

And will continue deleting and adding certain activities again and again who knows lol

I'm approaching this the way I feel is best for myself and my BCD friends.

It's like playing double dutch.

Everyone is on a different path.

No one should judge rather someone offers XYZ or rather they don't offer XYZ.
