    Very true! I suspect the market will rebound very quickly when this is over.

    It sucks, but you are not alone with losses. You can look at trends in the past to see how the stock market overall recovers from significant events in the past two decades (ie. 9/11, the Great Recession). The recovery curve could look like a V, U, or worse case scenario, an L. Just be mindful that this current crisis will impact some industries heavier than others. I say take advantage of the market volatility with some short term plays.

    but
    I am forced to sell stocks at 50 cents on the dollar to keep my businesses afloat.
    but I love all the public officials telling us we are all in this together. They are enjoying their 8 week paid vacation!
    I am sure they will want a raise next year because they are so over worked and under paid!
