Instapots rock --- meals that used to take 4 hours with a brown, braise, simmer cycle one can do in about one hour. And, you only have one thing to clean.

I can now do pinto beans from dried beans in about 40 mins.

Another thing I find to make great in an instapot are rice dishes -- kind of Central American style. Brown chunks of chicken in the pot with an adobo powder; then add rice, tomatoes, onions, maybe some ground cumin, paprika, and/or chile powder, then add either water or chicken stock. Crank the pressure cooker for 40 mins or so, and you have a great 'tinto de gallo' type dish. Enough for 6 servings or so.

Instapots truly rock.
