    Posting Reviews Problem

    Are any other members having problems posting a review?? I keep getting an error message every time I attempt to post a review: "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters." I have tried posting the review in the Independent Provider Review Forum and in the Other Reviews Forum with the same error message.
    Newbie members friendly. Troll inhospitable & I have an ever growing troll ignore list!!!

    I don't know if this will help in your case. I did encounter the dreaded "10 Character" problem the other day when I went to edit one of my posts. I hit the "Go Advanced" button then "Save" and it cleared. I got around it. Just thought I'd mention my experience. If I hear anything I'll let you know.

    We seem to be hitting new records with number of members online like every other day. We are in uncharted territory for this site. Stretching and growing seems to have it's advantages and disadvantages. We'll all work through it together.

    There is NO "Go Advanced" button. There is a "Submit" "Preview" and "Cancel" button. If I hit the the "Submit" or "Preview" button, I get this error message "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters."

    This is what I was told...

    "Our tech has isolated the issue to the host server and even though memory has been increased, the issues (except email, maybe) persist, likely because traffic load has grown significantly."

    Just as I suspected. They ARE working on it.

    Thanks for the Intel Bro. Folks, we are just going to have to be patient. There are obvious growing issues going on around here. However, please keep the staff up to date on specific tech issues. They may be better able to isolate and resolve the issues with a very detailed statement of the specific problem you are incurring. That's what the IT guy always tells me.

    Just tried to post a review again and am still having the same issue: "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters."

    However, The tool bar now appears but when I tried to insert a picture, the page froze when I clicked the icon to add the picture. I hope this helps track down that little gremlin causing the issue.

    "I had the same issue. I think you have to fill in every field with at least 10 characters, so for example: “Austin” is only six letters– – To bypass this, I put the word “ten characters” in every field, submitted, then edited and put in the real data I wanted, even deleting some fields, as I did on Eccie. The only field I was unable to edit after submitting was the title and provider name, so get those right the first time"

    Sorry to bump this thread, but I have tried to post a review 6 times today with no luck. Getting the dreaded 1 character message:
    "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters."

    Every blank was filled with at least 10 characters. Anyone have a suggestion?

    Sorry for the persisting issue and the problem is not always universal in the one forum, so try posting a review in a different forum and staff will relocate it eventually.

    When encountered, try hitting the back button once then hit enter and wait a moment or two. If negative results, hit the browser refresh button once and wait a moment or two.

    Not sure if the above will help, but it did work for me on logging in issues.
