Why do most ladies have a no review policy?

Is it the risk of legal implications or just a new trend?
I just followed suit after being out of the hobby for a long time. When I came back on the scene, all the cool kids were doing it or rather not doing it.

What's the risk vs reward, in laymen terms? I get pissed that I have so many yet can't really show them to anyone.

I feel I've earned my stars and stripes, but when you change your moniker and pop in and out over the course of the years where everything is changing, it makes it hard to know if I should just say to hell with it and allow them or keep low key.

Thank you Nikki for posting this!! After a 4 year break I came back and made my way back to this site. I have $$$ to spend,. I 'shop' around, find a girl and then I cannot find any info.

Some of these girls ads or websites do not even mention rates. Then they say, 'if you mention fees or services in texts or email you are banned and blocked!'. So how in the hell am I supposed to book you when I have no clue what I am getting into?

Maybe women here don’t like being the subject of adolescent and degrading penthouse letter style nonsense.

I understand and respect that each person has their own opinion on reviews. And, I appreciate that OH2 respects a provider’s preference on this. Which is the main reason I joined. I am also well aware that there are guys who will not see a lady who is not reviewed. And, they have that right.

I have a no review policy because personally I don’t like how graphic they are. And, I feel our time BCD is personal, private and between consenting adults where discretion paramount. And, each encounter is as unique as the individuals who are enjoying that experience ;) I would also add, that I pursue a career and have family and friends beyond this realm. Just like most everyone one else in the RW :)

Now with all of that noted, I am okay with a testimonial or even being vouched for. And, when a guys asks about my lack of reviews (which rarely happens) I simply let him know there is no negative information out there on me either. I also offer a “CatFish” clause, that allows the gent to politely bow out should he feel that is the case with me. Though no one has ever done that :-)

So, that is my opinion for me. I understand and respect that other ladies appreciate and want reviews. The beauty of OH2 is that each provider decides for herself :) Thank you CK!

I do not care to be reviewed, being vouched for is appreciated.

If this is a question for the ladies I’m wondering why it wasn’t posted in the ladies only area.

Yes, I agree with you, I am not so much looking for a 'detailed review', as I am the basics. Menu, rates, available days etc. Your site does that, thank you. Some of the girls do not even do that.

I know reviews are always YMMV.

So yes, at the end of the day, I will vote with my wallet.

    +1

There are many men that do not write reviews. It’s just what you are comfortable with.

Great answer. I can see plenty of reasons why some would want reviews when building a reputation, so to speak. But there are also plenty of obvious negatives.

Not sure this is on topic but...

The only reason I read an ROS of a review is to try to determine what a lady truly enjoys vs what she's simply willing to do.

The play by play is mostly meaningless because as it's already been alluded to, a good session is YMMV meaning a good session consists of what comes naturally for both and is enjoyed by both.

To that end, I wish menu lists in ads were broken into three parts:
    - What I love to do
    - What I'm willing to do
    - Out of the question

Such a list, from my perspective, would eliminate the need for reviews.

The thing is, is although I feel that the only one of those that remains SOLID across the board are our hard NOs, it's bad marketing (ironically *kanye shrug*), psychologically speaking, it gives a negative response.
YMMV true to the acronym, would mean that I may do this with you, I may do more, I may do less, I may do this with them but not you, I may not do this with either of you but I am with them etc. The things you love doing or are willing to do are included in the YMMV. It's not universal darlin. I promise you, it's not. It's all, as you stated, what comes naturally and can be enjoyed by both. Sometimes even basic things you've done a million times over, can be super hot and erotic and exciting when you're vibing with your pleasure partner or things you typically love doing, can be lackluster if you aren't connecting very well.

**EDIT** I have gained perspective and am currently toying with the idea of listing kinks/fets/taboos on my ads because they are outside of the "normal" realm of things and it would definitely be nice to know beforehand if someone is open to or interested in them. I can appreciate how uncomfortable it may be to bring them up without knowing how the other person feels because you risk them becoming uncomfortable and throwing the whole experience outta whack.

I appreciate the gentleman who reached out and shared their view with me. I hadn't thought of that and am finding it to be an exception to the no menu rule.

This is something I have been harping on for awhile. Different girls have different comfort levels in general and it definitely varies based on the guy they are seeing. Some girls might get more turned on with a more attractive hobbyist but more likely the demeanor of the hobbyist makes a difference. It's hard to get relaxed enough to get truly turned on with a dude with poor social skills or who makes you uncomfortable. Vice versa for the guys. Unfortunately a lot of guys don't understand this and they read an ROS that was written by an aspiring porn producer (if it's not out and out fiction) and think "With X hobbyist the girl howled out gilbert and sullivan at the full moon was squirting uncontrollably... why not with me?!"

Telling on myself here but when I do a review my ROS contains none of that garbage and I discuss with the provider what they would be comfortable seeing shared. For instance in the squirting thread I have been told not to share that because people will read that and go "why not me??!?!" like it can be turned on/off. I instead include her TCB, if she was personable, etc. Activity descriptions are bare bones.

I know that in my case, several reviews that have been written about me were embellished or listed acts that we flat-out didn't do, which then resulted in months of messages from people haranguing me for acts that I don't offer, at least not when meeting someone for the first time. (For example, if you demonstrate a lack of common sense regarding anal, say you need it spelled out, t-o t-h-e l-e-t-t-e-r that yes, anal-to-vaginal literally only exists in porn thanks to editing, then anal obviously isn't happening. Or if you suggest that I can just magically shove things in my ass at the snap of your fingers just because you read it in a review.)

That and historically, the people who read my reviews and take them at face value end up being people I don't enjoy my time with. I've found that reviews can create false expectations. Many of my reviews have resulted from not just TOB but the chemistry between us. So when they describe those magical fireworks, everyone anticipates a mind-shattering, credit ruining, religious conversion of an experience. But I'm human and as with anything, I might be the girl who ruins escorts for you in the best possible way or you might find me awkward and cringey.

100%. I flat out ignore reviews except from a few trusted sources. And even then I pay more attention to attitude and rates more than the acts.

To hear some guys tell it people perform a three act romance novel in every 30-60 minute appointment.
