The best area for safety/convenience/services is the Arboretum which is a nicer area and has access to food, very close to generic shops if you find you ran out of something. Lots of girls go to 35 and 290 but this is a big mistake as a lot of hobbyists will go nowhere near there as it's pretty ghetto and the hotels are unsafe at night.
Another thing to consider is whether you would like to be north or south because there is definitely a divide. I would not know the best places to go down south but since so many of the providers are north the hobbyists in the south are a little under served and you might be able to capitalize on that.
