A Hygiene Question for the Ladies

I was reading recently about how guys allegedly show up unshowered and musty. When told to shower they refuse and you allegedly see them anyway. Is this true? I don’t really believe this happens. What I believe is they shower or you send them down the road.

How do you ladies handle this situation? I always show up freshly showered, shaved, wearing deodorant, teeth brushed and hair brushed. Am I just wasting my time making the effort?

I kick 'em back to the shower til they get it right. It's amazing how many guys will not use soap and I have a plethora of Bath & Bodyworks Men's Soaps as well as Axe Soaps and Irish Spring in a bottle. They think a quick rinse off is good, or just running the water to make it seem like they took a shower.

I wash their men area and I am limited to how close and cozy I will get. I don't mind musty up against me, I can shower. But really I haven't had the problem of anyone actually stinky. I'm not in the business of sending money down the road. But as I've said, it wasn't intolerable. Just like I can smell if someone has a cavity, I definitely won't be doing tongue kisses. The smell is horrific to me, worse than musty BO.....

Many of those soaps leave them smelling to clean to go home to the little wifey. I would always get the odorless little motel soaps and let them know that it doesn't really leave a smell.

Nothing more scary than lacing up those work boots to be in the heat all day and coming home smelling like Irish spring lol.

I also have a non-scented one for those types, but most compliment my array of soap. lol

Oh and this rarely happens, but sometimes guys ask for a bar of soap. I also have individually packed bar soap in a drawer in my bathroom for them, and then throw away the used bar after they leave.

I've been at this a very long time. I've learned a lot along the way.

I either take a shower before I get there or if I get the urge while I'm working I'll ask if there's a shower available. I like to be clean and I want the provider to be clean as well. I've run into some not so good smelling ladies before.

Even if they are freshly showered, I politely direct them to the bathroom to freshen it up. Or, use the shower all together if they’re musty. I usually keep men’s toiletries, towels, etc for guys. No excuse to be funky.

I’ve had men show up straight from work and have a sweaty smell. Just request to take quick wash up or wash it off your with soap & towel but yes men to show up sweaty occasionally. 25%.

Some men can have a very unpleasant odor even after showering, particularly if too much time has passed. These men should probably shower really close to the time of appt.

Men and women both make pheromones as well but that's unrelated to the "BO issue".

The current theory is that humans most likely detect pheromones through our basic olfactory pathway as we don't have a VNO (well, we do but it atrophies in fetal development). The "VNO" is how many animals communicate through pheromones.

However, the issue with BO is unrelated to pheromones. It's not even really related to sweat. Sweat is virtually odorless to humans. The actual issue is that bacteria grows in moist warm environments. When someone sweats a lot, or has warms areas of moisture on their body, along with certain bacteria (some will just have large volumes of bacteria due to genetics or environment which grow on them), the bacterium break down sweat/moisture into acids that cause unpleasant odors.

People with hyperhidrosis, or whom have abnormal bacterial growth (this is genetic too), or have lots of warm moist areas on the body, *can* be prone to creating these unpleasant odors as the bacteria breaks down into noisome odors. Some will, some won't; regardless of their sweating or moisture. Again, that's largely genetics, diet, environment, etc.

I had a good friend for many years who could shower 2 times a day, use deodorant, cologne, everything you can imagine, and no matter what he did he virtually always had a repugnant odor. Part of this was likely due to genetics and environment which caused abnormal bacterial growth, or the massive androgen hormones he produced, which could also lead to abnormal bacterial growth on the body and creating additional unpleasant odors.

Some men for example, just like women, can go a week without showering and they still smell perfectly fine. No odor whatsoever. Literally nothing. Other men, women too, can go half a day without showering, or let's say even 1 full day, but if they don't shower soon you can't even sit next to them in the car b/c it's literally so repugnant you are having to turn your head or roll the window down (literally - this is not totally uncommon). Again, that's largely genetics but also environment, diet, vitamins....

TO COMBAT ODORS:

1. Obviously shower daily but make sure you dry off well.
2. Make sure you clean & dry the groin & armpit areas.
3. Trim or remove excess body hair. No hair does not cause BO. However it does make it easier to sweat & easier for bacteria to grow.
4. Clear up any skin flakiness or dandruff. Dry skin as paradoxical as it may sound can also cause bacterial odors.
5. Use good antiperspirants along with a light body spray.

One of the most important things is to keep the groin & armpit areas clean. This is where your apocrine glands develop during puberty. They are the cause of most odor producing bacteria laden sweat.

Helpful Hint:
Lightly use a simple antibacterial bathroom wet wipe (hypoallergenic) on your groin and armpit areas but make sure it's not overly moist if you are already prone to these issues.

Personally I never worry about drying it off & just let it air dry but I don't have any issues with BO. I can go days without showering and you'd never know it. Point is if you are one of these lucky people then don't worry too much about moisture. That must be a gift from my mom haha. My dad is one of those I described above that has that super waxy, super oily skin, the kind that gets everything dirty & grimy, prone to major BO after half a day without showering, etc... Bleh! Lol. Anyway some people just have that issue. It can be controlled but you have to work at it to fix it. It's largely genetic, environmental, dietary, and possibly based on certain medications.

Also, let me be clear again about the dry skin or dandruff. It seems like a paradox b/c I've said so much about how you need to be dry. Mainly you want to make sure the apocrine glandular areas are dry and free of bacteria. However, dry flakes can also cause odors so you need to shower with anti dandruff and/or moisturizing shampoos and soaps along with possibly a light skin moisturizer that is antibacterial (this is really only if you are prone to severe dry skin or flakes).

Most of the Gents I see ask to shower when they arrive. If they don't ask, I invite them to and say..."The cleaner it is, the more attention it gets!" So if the balls and ass aren't squeaky clean.....don't expect BLS and/or RIM :shrug:

I prefer them to shower over just a wipe down with a soapy cloth. And I'm not a fan of when they wash at the sink. It leaves such a mess on my bathroom floor and I worry about slipping in a puddle and falling. (either of us)

Since I do not include the time it takes to shower upon arrival in the session..... just get in the damn shower, use the shower massage and unscented soap already so we can get to the sloppy slobbery wet fun!

So true. Or washing at the sink and leaving soap on the peepee. I've had that. If it needs soap, just shower so you can wash off the soap. A mouth full of soap is a horrible taste. And the water everywhere, yep hahaha too funny

I say a shower before and after.

I prefer the guy to shower before and then of course without a doubt you are going to want to take shower after our rendezvous!!
I also try to always brush my teeth in front of the Male when he first arrives. I dont know why , but I think the Minty Cool Breath thing is sexy as hell! Please Eat altoids then lick my pussy then blow on it! Hell yes! I think that is one of the best feelings or sensation in the world! If you have never tried it I would reccomend experiencing it!

..Its about lube/oil. What is your favorite kind?? Expensive or Not Expensive....???? What do you like the most about it?? I'm on the quest for the lube of all lubes! Tired of spending money sampling ones that really suck!
