Anyone concerned about the corona virus?

Seems like this could become a pandemic.

    It's possible.

    Thoughts?

The news article I read was not bringing any hope. The country of origin has requested aid for supplies and they are building a new hospital in 10 days for quarintine of sick patients. Hospitals are already full and turning people away.
A U.S. citizen was traveling and caught the virus.

Without being flip, at this moment in time, within the U.S.A., more danger of a computer virus, imo.

Obviously, all of should have had our vaccinations by now, but still not too late to do so.

And, at the first sign of flu, (or any other illness) get screened and treated appropriately!

couldn't they of named it something else? Corona was the greatest thing back in the 80's especially when some of the clubs did the $1 beer nights. Now they have to go pick on it. Couldn't they of called it the Pabstvirus? or ZIMAvirus?

So now what are your thoughts about the virus and the spread of it?

Seems like a whole lot has changed in a month.

    well, i trust the president after he convincingly said yesterday that there is a low chance i'm gonna die from it. :^}

seriously, it is spreading but i dont think millions are going die from it.
its effects on commerce and the financial markets will probably be greater than expected.
now would be a good time to buy stocks/bonds/funds for less than they were last week.
    it's always afternoon!!

    have fun out there.

I'm concerned about our economy and people panicking.... thus leading to cancelled appointments and food gone at grocery stores, etc.
I have family members that are servers.... worried about that industry.

Most of my SDs and clients travel a TON, so that's a concern. I have 2 jobs..... that's a concern cause both jobs deal with people who travel for work.

    Things are changing quickly!

Yes, those providers that do BBFS with those guys who frequent the AMPS to do BBFS with those ladies and write their creampie reviews should be doubly worried, and any guys who see such providers that do that should nix them and move on to a safer provider.

Unless a vaccine comes out, we all gonna get it. About as bad as the flu, unless you are old. Death rate higher for old people. People panicking will probably worse. Hope there isnt a run food, etc when it arrives.

    My two cents

The planet is made up of millions of things that want to kill humans everyday. Stroke, Heart Attack, Accidents, Viruses, Cancers, Spiders, Snakes, Alligators, Drunk Drivers, etc. One cannot live life being afraid to die, that is simply not living. We are all going to die someday, make the best of life now while you still can. My Dad died in his sixties, his dad died in his thirty's. If I make it to retirement Ill be shocked, and probably die from it too. Ill see y'all again before I die.

SARS was going to be the next pandemic until warmed weather arrived and killed off or contained the virus.

I think if it happened in the US it might be harder to contain than in China.

This is less lethal than SARS.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this were biological warfare or a for profit outbreak caused by some drug companies.
