Good to see this site is here.. But why are there soooo many locked threads? Seems like not many discussions last?

Threads are locked/closed by staff when necessary for a variety of reasons. Just from what I see while briefly perusing Coed:

Disagreements between two members/NCNS reports/related incidents are closed per site policy once both sides personally involved in the experience have had their say. The rest of us weren't flies on the wall.

Issues that have been resolved, say members asking for account disablement or relating simple tech/access problems or needing info best shared privately or making one-time PSAs, are closed after their respective matters are taken care of since further open-board discussion would be moot.

If threads are started by OPs in violation of guidelines/instructions, say misplaced ads or private communications posted in public or core offenses (see the local Welcome Wagon for basic rules), they are subject to closure.

If discussions incite drama and/or become hopelessly hijacked/off-topic and/or disrespectful/derogatory/accusatory beyond reason, they may be closed.

Some threads are locked for reasons that have to stay private and/or behind the scenes. Others are not closed but relocated to more appropriate areas and redirects left.

Just depends on the circumstances, but the majority of topics are discussed successfully and pleasantly within guidelines. Thanks for asking!

Yes. Thank you all so very much. I don’t think people understand the hell a lot of us went through emotionally being around toxicity/negativity all th time on other boards. Thank you for the POSITIVE happy hobby environment.
