I suffer from Cedar Fever as well. I follow a few steps to make it manageable:

    - Use Nasacort spray every day
    - Get a smoothie a couple of times a week from Soup Peddler with a couple of shots of bee pollen in it.
    - Shower before bed, to rinse off any cedar pollen otherwise it ends up in my bed linens

Once I started this regimen 4 years ago, the "fever" is much reduced.

I had read this previously and thanked God for not having any allergies this year... he must have heard me because I swear the next day my allergies hit me hard and I've been suffering ever since.

    1. Take the shower before going to bed. You will not rub pollen in to your pillowcase and breathe it in all nigh.
    2. Cover your bed with bed-cover, to prevent dust and allergens getting in your bed.
    3. Wash your hands and face often. Don't pick your nose and eyes!
    4. Was your windows and draperies. Remove carpets, window-blinds and clean, clean, clean and then clean some more!

    5. Use Saline Nasal Mist to flush pollen out of your nose, BEFORE you spray medicated Flonase!
    6. Air purifiers are great!
    7. Don't use cough suppressant, use expectorant!

    ...and pray for allergy immunity.

Showering before bed makes good sense. But I shower first thing in the morning, so showering again in the evening seems wasteful.

My wife and I make our bed when we get up every morning. But our pillows are outside the covers. We have to rethink that.

Love is a nose so you better not pick it. Apologies to Neil Young :-)

But yes, wash your hands frequently. I also wash my face and eyes since they’re the source of most of my displeasure.

I use saline. Allergy pills work better for me.

I tried air purifiers. They were noisy and not effective.

I am a devout atheist and don’t pray.

My wife and I decided that the best solution was to move to Colorado in January and come back to Austin in February.

    Carry on lovely people.

I bought a Navage with my left over FSA money. Seems to have helped. It was either that, or $100 worth of condoms.
