Late-20s hobbyist joining because of course I am.

Ex-sailor, ex-programmer, BOFH, technoguru, craft beer addict, and lover of old forests - hailing previously from the frozen far north. I'm kind of boring honestly and lurk far more than I post. Some people value spontaneity, but I am slow and deliberate and careful and very, very paranoid - if you need PERSEC advice I'm your guy. Almost all of my time spent hobbying has been in Europe in my early 20s so I can't really verify that way, and it's a different scene here, but I wanted to delve into it.

I'm best with those who are newbie-friendly, I'm just not ultra-experienced like some of the people here. Located in south central Austin.
