Done with ECCIE

Like many others, I've had my last dealings with ECCIE. I guess they've had close calls with LE and decided best to water-down the site to where it isn't worth looking at any more. I hope OH2 doesn't get that way.

I still cross post my reviews on Eccie, I like how they list the review's under the providers profile. It's also good to have redundancy in case either site goes down. Providers can still let hobbyists know they are available on Eccie through the use of creative COED threads. So I wouldn't write off Eccie just yet.

I go to OH2 most days, I go to eccie only when I'm looking up someone's past reviews or doing research before a booking. It's a research only board for me now.

Logged into eccie this AM and found very little of value posted in any of the forums in which I am interested. Still use it for research of old reviews and profile/comments, but eccie is becoming less valuable by the day.

The Coed Forum has become an advertising medium and is now almost worthless. If I see once more thread asking for ideas on where to stay in ATX, I think that I will... Well, you get the idea. Choke/Gag.

My preferred approach is seeing providers post on OH2 and then getting an opportunity to meet them at CK socials. Finding new, high-quality friends in the hobby will continue, but just not on eccie anymore.
